St. Louis Ovarian Cancer Awareness Research Grant 
$50,000 one-year award

Laura Crandall Brown Foundation Ovarian Cancer Early Detection Research Grant
$50,000 one-year award 
This grant is related to Ovarian Cancer with an emphasis on early detection.
The Foundation gratefully acknowledges the Laura Crandall Brown Foundation for support of this grant. Laura Crandall Brown Foundation offers hope through research for early detection of ovarian cancer, empowering communities through gynecologic cancer awareness, and enriching lives through support. This is the fourth research grant supported by the Laura Crandall Brown Foundation.


Caring Together, NY, Ovarian Cancer Research Grant
$30,000 one-year award 
This grant is related to Ovarian Cancer.
The Foundation gratefully acknowledges Caring Together, Inc., of New York for the support of this grant. Caring Together, Inc. of New York is dedicated to providing support, education, and advocacy for women with ovarian cancer and to supporting research efforts aimed at finding an early detection test and a cure. This is the eleventh research grant supported by Caring Together, NY.


Myriad Genetics Ovarian Cancer Research Grant
$50,000 one-year award
This grant is focused on addressing barriers to germline testing in hereditary Ovarian Cancer.
The Foundation gratefully acknowledges Myriad Genetics for the support of this grant. This is the first year this research grant is being offered.


Amy Krouse Rosenthal Foundation Early Detection Research Grant
$50,000 one-year award 
This grant is related to Ovarian Cancer with an emphasis on early detection.
The Foundation gratefully acknowledges the Amy Krouse Rosenthal Foundation for support of this grant. The Amy Krouse Rosenthal Foundation focuses on early detection because they know that a woman’s survival rate exponentially increases when ovarian cancer is caught early. This is the first research grant supported by the Amy Krouse Rosenthal Foundation.


Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati Research Grant
$50,000 one-year award
This grant is related to Ovarian Cancer and is focused on targeted therapies.
The Foundation gratefully acknowledges the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati for support of this grant. The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati’s mission is to create public awareness to the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, to provide support, resources, and education to ovarian cancer survivors and caregivers; and to fund research focused on early detection, survivability, and a cure. This is the first research grant supported by the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati.

Ovarinnovate: Ovarcome Research Excellence Award
Two $10,000 one-year awards
Please Note: Candidates are required to be a Fellow-in-Training member of the SGO to be eligible for this award.
Applicants will be encouraged to develop research proposals related to ovarian cancer that incorporate cooperation with colleagues from other institutions. Submissions addressing rare diseases, therapeutics, quality of life, patient-reported outcomes, education or palliative care are encouraged.
The Foundation gratefully acknowledges Ovarcome for the support of this grant. Established in 2016 through grants from the SGO and Ovarcome, the SGO Collaborative Fellow-In-Training Research Award and Ovarinnovate: Ovarcome Research Excellence Award focuses on promoting collaborative research efforts amongst gynecologic oncology fellows on a national level. Ovarcome's mission is to raise global awareness, to fund research in search of cures, and to provide financial support to underprivileged women in the U.S. as well as developing nations in their valiant fight against ovarian cancer. This is the fourth year this research grant is being supported by Ovarcome..



ENDOMETRIAL CANCER

Wilma Williams Education and Clinical Research Award for Endometrial Cancer
$25,000 one-year award
This grant is related to Endometrial Cancer.
The Foundation gratefully acknowledges Dr. James Orr and Mrs. Vicki Orr for support of this grant. This grant is intended to honor both Wilma Williams and the tireless work and dedication of all gynecologic oncologists, and to ensure the ability to pass on and preserve the specialized medical skills and tools to those physicians who will carry the torch. This is the seventh grant support by Dr. James Orr and Mrs. Vicki Orr.
 

Endometrial Cancer Research Grant in Honor of Lynne Bovee Olson
$25,000 one-year award
This grant related to Endometrial Cancer.
The Foundation gratefully acknowledges the Family and supporters of Lynne Bovee Olson for support of this grant. This grant is supported through the generous donations from friends and family of Lynne Bovee Olson. This is the second year this research grant is being offered.

CERVICAL CANCER

ME STRONG Cervical Cancer Research Grant
$25,000 one-year award
Related to cervical cancer biology aimed at novel therapies with an emphasis on immune component.
The Foundation gratefully acknowledges MESTRONG for support of this grant. ME STRONG is a charity committed to serving Central Floridians battling cancer and to funding groundbreaking research in pursuit of a cure. This is the fifth research grant supported by ME STRONG.


INNOVATIVE RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY

Bruce Patsner Research Grant for Innovative Research and Technology
$10,000 one-year award
Related to clinical research and technology concepts that seek to better understand and/or illuminate disease-related biology.

Foundation for Women’s Cancer/Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation Excellence in Ovarian Cancer Research Prize
$5,000 one-year award
To Apply: Submit Full Proposal by November 25, 2019
This annual prize will be given to an individual who can best demonstrate that he or she has been able to use their Foundation award to improve women’s health care by obtaining independent extramural funding, making important contributions to the literature, and/or developing programs that improved women’s health care, including early detection. This award is to the individual and not his or her institution. Only past Foundation award winners qualify for this prize and should apply by completing the application. Learn More

Perlman Family CCARE Lynch Syndrome Research Prize
$2,500 one-year award
To Apply: Submit Full Proposal by November 25, 2019
Funding is available for a $2,500 stipend for a trainee to support a summer or short-term research project that advances knowledge about Lynch syndrome and its role in gynecologic cancers. The successful applicant must submit a short summary of the project’s goals and expected outcomes co-signed by the applicant’s mentor and supervisor.
The Foundation gratefully acknowledges the Perlman Family for its generous support of this prize. This is the eighth prize supported by the Perlman Family.


Nina Donnelley and The Dickens Fund of the Donnelley Foundation Young Investigator Award in Honor of Laurel W. Rice, MD
$1,000 one-year award
